This is the launching point into the POET application. We are currently
alpha testing this version of the software; therefore, some features
may not be completely implemented. If you have any questions, problems

NOTES REGARDING JAVA:
POET requires the use of Sun's Java Runtime Environment
(or JRE) version 1.4.1 or greater. The JRE included by default with
Internet Explorer will not work correctly. You can download
the latest Sun JRE here. For
Windows operating systems, click on "Download" under the "JRE" column
for "Windows (U.S. English only)" option.
If you are using this from a UK computer lab, there seems to be
a roblem with Java and Internet Explorer with regard to POET. The
campus computer labs also have Netscape installed; POET works
correctly from Netscape. At most labs, Netscape can be accessed as
follows: Start->Internet Software->Netscape
